Celebrating Birthdays

 

We had a little birthday celebration yesterday 

early for me  - 62.

And late for Daniel - 30

Marina and Dean were more aware of each other this time. 

As usual, we sat them in the chair together to see what they would do. 
Marina wanted to hold Dean's hand, so she went about grabbing it.

Dean seemed OK with it.

Then Dean wanted to whisper to his cousin a secret that we could not hear.

Marina was uncomfortable in the outfit Katherine put her in. It was a scratchy little number with a lace collar that Katherine wore when she was Marina's age.

Marina was trying to teach Dean how to sit, and Dean was trying to teach Marina how to crawl.

Marina was also fascinated with Dean's ears.

The most fun they had was jumping in the doorway together!

I searched the archives for photos of my kids doing the jumper. 

I found Katherine in her Johnny Jump-Up.

And Peter in the new and revised version of Johnny Jump-Up.
