Chicken Tortilla Soup

This recipe was in the back of my current HGTV magazine. The Crockin' Girls were featured, and this was one of their favorite crock pot meals. It was simple to make, and we all loved it.

Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1  14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes with green chilies (I used Ro*tel)
1  8 ounce can tomato sauce
1  10.75 ounce can cheddar cheese soup
2 c. chopped carrots
8 ounces frozen corn
1 large yellow onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 t. chili powder
1/2 t. ground cumin

Garnishes: Shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend, Tortilla chips

Place all ingredients (except garnishes) in Slow Cooker. Set to low for 6-8 hours.
